After a disappointing 4 days of chasing the Black Hills, we were hoping our luck with storms would have changed upon returning home. A storm fired northwest of us and we waited for it to get a bit closer before pulling the trigger and driving after it Looked fantastic on radar, a classic "flying-eagle" supercell signature... until we started driving after it Then it immediately became outflow-dominant and died. Before its base had shriveled completely though, we got underneath it northwest of North Bend, NE. Definitely still a supercell (the round appearance of the updraft base indicates its rotation), but definitely dying. Not long after this it shriveled into thin air and the storm to the west took over. However, we were just glad to have seen something that somewhat resembled a supercell
