Re-processed this shot from April 2012 to better bring out the textures in this storm near McPherson, KS 
Morning convection screwed up our initial target of south-central Nebraska, so we had a decision to make. Blast south through the crappy rain in hopes that cells would still remain discrete to the south, or blast west towards the clear skies that hadn't been interfered with. We opted for the latter, but nothing ended up happening. We began our journey back east when eventually some storms fired along our return route. Dipped south towards Salina, KS to shoot them instead of driving in them, and ended up with this view! You can see Cody in the foreground set up shooting by the fence
