One of the first shots off my camera on this year's trip to Colorado, and one of my favorite frames. This was taken while hiking back down the Capitol Peak trail (ended up doing about 5 miles round trip). Orange aspens on one side, with green aspens on the other.
Really embodies the patchiness of the color we saw this year 
Some areas would be past their prime while others were still just getting ready to turn. Always a unique experience in Colorado, and I can't wait to see what next year brings
