A bit cliché, certainly, but a necessary shot while in the Black Hills. Just impossible to resist shooting, the way the trunks all draw you to a clear focal point! If only it had been autumn =D Looking up this stand of slender Birch trees made us feel like we were in real mountains. Sorry about the bits of snow on the lens, the snow was starting to come down at around 1"/hr rates and we were looking straight up into it :P Hoping to replicate this shot this summer/fall with some full fall colors! :)
