Just a damn nice sunset
Wasn't expecting to shoot a bonkers sky like this after a fully overcast afternoon, but the light caught my eye just in time as the sun broke and illuminated everything out our living room window in golden hues. Drove expeditiously to the top of Skyline Drive to a new favorite overlook of the Black Hills range. Timelapsed this stunning sky for 20 minutes as colors faded from yellows and golds to deep oranges and pinks. A fitting end to an unseasonably warm start to winter, with "real" winter kicking in for the foreseeable future tomorrow :snow: I was comfortable wearing a t-shirt and jeans while shooting this. Tomorrow, full winter attire will be in order as snow and 40+ mph winds are expected.
