Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Premium Content... Who Wants Wallpapers?

Hey everyone!

So this whole Premium Content deal that deviantArt has introduced sounds pretty interesting. Basically allowing users to charge small amounts of points for digital downloads. If you haven't heard about it, you can read here: [link]

Unless I'm misinterpreting its use, this would allow photographers to sell wallpaper-sized versions of their work, correct? That sounds pretty cool to me. I haven't made wallpaper-sized versions in the past simply because that's a fairly specialized thing and would take a lot of time. I've made a few custom-sized versions for friends, but with the Premium Content platform, I'd be more than happy to offer a zip file of wallpaper-sized versions for a few points.

Basically what I'm asking is, would anyone be interested? I'm sure the 1000x667 pixel versions do fine for some people, but that won't fit most screens. And for a few points, why not?
