Got back yesterday after a couple days of chasing storms across South Dakota

That's right, storms. Those things that usually occur in the midwest, but have been fleeing to Canada and the eastern seaboard all summer

Was a pretty great couple of days. Drove up north to meet with Chris and head west towards the black hills. Intercepted an elevated storm in Black Hills National Forest (which is basically the mountains, holy crap

) and did our best to follow it as it tracked towards Badlands National Park.

Slept at Chris' house and met with Brett to chase the next day in central SD (Chris had to work). Storms congealed into a messy line rather quickly, but it had some interesting shelfy structure for a while before it overtook us.

Lots of images to come as those are only a couple (and nowhere near the best) out of a few hundred shots. Definitely some gallery-worthy stuff.

Looking forward to see it in your gallery ^^
