Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Fall Break

OH MAN. Two days off of school, this Monday and Tuesday. What am I going to do with myself?

Fall colors are in full swing here in Omaha and it's such a welcome sight. Stuff started turning super early this season thanks to the drought, so it feels like I've been waiting ages for the real colors

Probably gonna bike to Lake Zorinsky tomorrow to shoot some fall colors/landscapes. If not, I'll drive out into the country or hit up our local creek

Either way, really looking forward to contrasting some vibrant oranges/yellows with the blue sky (with the extra help of a circular polarizer

).

Got back from chasing yesterday, which was largely unsuccessful. Targeted south-central Kansas hoping storms would fire and rotate. They didn't. Had some smaller storms go up, but the shear crossover just wasn't in place to make them turn and become supercells. We did end up getting on a small storm around sunset that somewhat resembled a supercell (see below) but that was about it

Oh well! You win some, you lose some. It was really just nice to get out and be with friends again.

Heard a few people caught tornadoes the day before. Oh well, not like they were really photogenic ones so not a big deal. Only spent 40 bucks on the chase split between three people, so at least my wallet doesn't hurt too bad

Yeaaaaaah... I've seen a few videos of the 12th but nothing that looks like a tornado. Sure some nice little funnel clouds but the dirt being kicked up by winds on the ground seems to have a clear lack of rotation.
