Apologies for the sun on the right, it was very bright
If you look to the right of the sun, you can see a "sun dog" which is essentially a rainbow-like structure created by ice crystals in the atmosphere. Usually these occur high in the atmosphere among cirrus clouds, but this one was created by a large area of blowing snow
