When It Strikes by FramedByNature When It Strikes by FramedByNature

It strikes when you least expect it. I was prepared, though. Lightning shoot got canceled due to rain, but I left the camera shooting on the dash just in case something epic happened. A few minutes later, the sky was lit by a blinding cloud-to-cloud crawling lightning bolt. Absolutely incredible!

Please tell me what you think! 8-)

So was the camera just taking a shot every second? Light trigger? Video and this is a frame rip? In any case, great picture.

Just took a long exposure. I had the shutter set to continuous, so it would take 10-second exposures one after the other :)

Yeah, you can't shoot lightning when your lens is dripping in rain ;)

That explains it, then. Lightning must be precious, what with not being able to shoot it at the same time as rain!

(At least, I don't know how it works in the States, but here in rain-sodden Blighty, you'd have a job on your hands. ;) )
