The more images of this I share, the more I want to go out and shoot it again. Astrophotography can be seriously addicting. I'm by no means a professional, or even experienced at it, but it's a lot of fun. I don't have the equipment necessary (like a tracking mount) to take the best photos of stars, but I do what I can. Used a high ISO and a long shutter speed to gather the light of the Milky Way (unfortunately, the long shutter caused the Milky Way to blur a little since it rotates across the sky). Adjusted the "curves" setting in Photoshop and removed grain using Topaz DeNoise. Very pleased with this result.
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL shot Evan!!!! Love it! I'm going to try MY camera ISO next time at 2000 when I go take my night shots. After seeing YOUR shots, it flatters me that you Faved even one of MINE!!
what shutter speed did you use? im looking to try and do this sort of thing with an old film camera but looking for some time frames before i waste too much film
