Figured I might as well upload this shot along with my other State journalism photo (don't have most of my yearbook photography files on my home computer, so I'm loading this from school). I submitted three photos to the State competition, but I'm guessing this is the one that really earned me the gold medal (first place w00t!

). Our team is the guy in the white, blatantly being facemasked my the opposing team in red as he falls to the ground. This facemask went uncalled. I guess it just shows that it really is necessary to call penalties in sports, as it attemps to inhibit things that are truly dangerous. I know football is a rough sport, but come on, no reason to risk breaking someone's neck.
