near Max, Nebraska

A tornado touches down across the sandhills of Max, NE as the storm's mesocyclone churns eastward. This would be the first of at least a couple tornadoes of the day. If you look back in there to the left of the main tornado, you can see something else trying to touch down. Didn't see that at the time, but it appears there may be two tornadoes on the ground at once in this photo. :nod:
