Here's the first image of a series documenting a supercell we had roll through the Omaha area back on September 15th, 2010.

The initial view of it was really cool because you could see the base structure as well as the anvil above. Had to shoot ultra-wide to frame it all (10mm on a full-frame 5D lol) but I sort of like the effect. The circle vignette is the result of putting a crop-sensor lens on a full-frame camera, i.e. it's too wide

I get a similar effect with the circle vignette from a combination of a wide angle attachment on my 18mm...it has kind of become a signature for some of my wide angle work....I like how it helps frame an image....
