So it turns out tonemapped mammatus are pretty dang cool. Maybe not the most appropriate use of HDR (hey, it's art lol) but I really wanted to bring out the mammatus that were trying to hide in the shadows. This was just such an overwhelming scene in person. You have to picture this covering the entire sky, your whole field of view. And to be honest, this isn't a heavily "photoshopped" shot. I obviously helped the color vibrance a bit, but mother nature can produce some things that are trippier than photoshop could even imagine
