Witness the power of nature...
Canon 60D
Tamron 10-24mm
circular polarizer
When going on these photography adventures, instead of just shooting iconic landscapes and cliché compositions, I enjoy taking at least a few shots of the people I'm with, simply to prove that we were there I took this shot looking back at Michael Loguda while we were hiking the Iron Creek trail in Spearfish Canyon, SD Pristine landscapes with zero trace of human intervention are marvelous, but I love how the human form can give scenes like this some scale. And when it's the only apparent human element in the composition, it gives it that sort of pioneering feel. If you're ever in the black hills, I highly recommend hiking the Iron Creek trail! There are lots of photogenic scenes along the path, including several small waterfalls
