Made this animation during a short break between classes at the dorm. This time, I pointed the camera at the dorm building next to mine and focused on getting a smooth sequence of images. Quickly learning that finding a center point to focus on in these things is crucial. Basically just take a photo with your desired point where you want it, take a step, take another shot with that point framed in the same spot, take another step... etc. until you have enough frames for a smooth animation. I only took 4 shots for this, but since there was relatively little movement between the frames, it turned out pretty smooth. :) It was a good day to make this animation, too, since the rare late-season cumulus in the sky added another layer of depth.

The animation makes this look like a 3d design project... I don't understand how something real suddenly doesn't look real anymore. But that's just me.

I love the guy on the side who keeps jumping back and forth :D

You've got the idea, though the image I saw it done with only had two different frames, and they were hardly inches apart, and yet the effect was still quite effective. :)
