Witness the power of nature...
When going to Squaw Creek NWR for fall/spring migration, there's generally two things to look for: eagles and geese. During this trip, the number of geese was incredible, but the eagle coverage seemed pretty dismal. This was basically our only "close" eagle photo op of the day. Too bad he wasn't stark white bald, would have been a bit more majestic. I'll give him some slack though, as he's stuck in those awkward transition years
