Description
Took this shot of a (large) stellar dendrite snowflake back in December on my best snowflake shoot to date. Not entirely sure how large it was exactly, but this is an uncropped shot using a reversed 18mm lens. It was freezing outside (temps barely above zero F) so I had to take periodic breaks to let my hands warm up. Felt like a fool going inside while flakes like this were landing on the car windows, but I knew there would be plenty to shoot. Many more shots to come from this day
