Went down to the park to shoot more insects today. Thought I was going to end up using a shot of a jumping spider I found for my shot of the day, but it turns out it was just the male equivalent of my Day 2 species [link]

SO I had to use a shot I was slightly less proud of, this robber fly. Not sure of the exact sub-species since there are a million of them and this isn't exactly the most descriptive shot

Whoa. I didn't see this until just now. I just took a shot of a robber fly today ([link]). It's a different subspecies, and it's... not as good of a picture... but it's weird how similar they are.

26 days in, and I still can't figure out how you get such amazingly close shots.

I LOVE how you caught the eyes! Compound eyes are so pretty with the colors. How do you get so close without it flying away?

I thought you added the eyes and it looks mean. I suppose it was a good shot...the eyes and two front legs don't look blurry like the rest of the picture, but you're a better shot take than me.
