Canon 60D Tamron 10-24mm 400 stacked exposures, ~2.5 hours total
Another star trail shot from the dorm porch. Shot this one on the first night of properly cold temperatures this year, making for a clearer, more star-filled sky. Funny how many show up in the star trail compared to how few you can see with the naked eye. I had no idea you could do star trails from an area with high light pollution (some of the worst on the map). Taken off the dorm porch, different framing than the last one [link] with a warmer white balance to bring out purple instead of blue tones
Nicely done. You should check this out, I put it on my Christmas list and it would probably be pretty useful to you. You could do one of these with a single photo instead of stacking 400, might save you sometime hahaha [link]
