I know this one probably won't get a whole lot of views (the thumbnail view isn't exactly gripping) but I loved this scene. Full view it and you'll notice that's a small "pile" of a few thousand geese on the water, with a few filtering in from above. The geese were in the sun, while everything else was still shadowed by stratus. This is all that was left of the geese after most of them left for morning feeding. Later in the afternoon though, their numbers would swell to nearly a million.
I personally love this shot! The gentle gradient from sky to sea, the dots of bright geese, they all really add to make what I think is a gorgeous image.
THat is awesome and folks who pass because of the thumbnail are missing out. There's more to life and photography than incredible tiny views. Much of what is truly memorable in life is made up of scenes just like this--you will remember it forever.
