stacked images

I "stacked" a few shots from a lightning show back in July. There were a few nice CGs as well, but your exposure gets really messed up when you try to stack different kinds of lightning. Basically, I just took a few of my lightning images and laid them on top of each other to create a composite lightning image. The camera moved a bit during the hours of shooting, so the foreground isn't sharp, but I'm still happy with it

i wish i lived out here. you have some really amazing skies and storms! i live on the east coast... so things aren't as exciting in terms of nature.

I love this picture. the contrast between purple and yellow, and between the black boxy shapes and the thin lines of light.

Thanks! I believe I stacked several 30-second exposures at f/5.6 for the lightning, and a single exposure for the car lights
