Nacreous Spectrumby *FramedByNature

I'm actually not sure if these are nacreous clouds or not. If they were, they were some lower-level form of them. Most images I've seen of nacreous clouds are higher in the sky and much smoother. It's possible that this was simply iridescence occurring in clouds of a particularly strange shape. Either way, it was certainly a unique sight to witness. I didn't manipulate this image. This was a bit before sunset. However, the colors in the clouds weren't caused by that. This typically happens when the sun is close to clouds, no matter the time of day
