After spending nearly the entire night up on Murray Hill hoping for fog, *INTOtheRFD and I headed down into the valley in search of river/lake steam. We were really hoping for some steam devils but had no such luck. Instead of going for the usual vibrant colors, I went for more muted tones here. A lower angle probably would have been cooler, but I thoroughly messed up that shot by having an unrecoverable tilted horizon.

And before anyone beats me to the punch... I guess you could say this shot is rather mist-ical (like mystical, get it? harharhar). :slow:

This looks really great!
I love how the mist is hovering over the water, it has such a ghostly white appearance to it, thick yet easy to see through at the same time.
I also love the lighting in this area too, and it's neat how the edges of the photo are darkened up too.
I also really like the look of that tree there, with that kind of mustard growth over it.

You take pictures of such random and beautiful stuff. Its all so interesting..even the ones that wouldnt seem interesting, but you some how make them interesting. ^^
