There's nothing like catching a gorgeously-structured storm in your home state! Caught this supercell while chasing with Cody Ervin west of West Point, NE just as it began to spin. Watched it evolve from a moderately-rounded base to this highly-striated stack of plates in a span of about 15 minutes :wow: A very humbling process to watch. This was taken right as the structure peaked. Unfortunately, the storm would soon begin to get shrouded in rain, and the "show" was over as soon as it began :( Still, so glad I got to witness this! Would have sucked missing structure like this only an hour from home.
