Another favorite shot of mine from our Spring 2011 trip to Squaw Creek NWR. Unlike most of my other shots, this one is an ultra wide-angle photo. We walked out about a half mile onto the berm (which divides the lake in two) to get this angle, and boy was it worth it. Instead of having to telephoto all my shots, I was able to shoot them right in front of us and overhead The blue sky and cirrus made for an excellent contrasty backdrop to the 1.4 million geese!
