One of Trinidad, Colorado's more recognizable landmarks, the Trinidad sign sits atop Simpson's Rest and is visible from the highway. Going southwest from the national grasslands, the rising cliffs and Trinidad sign can be recognized from miles away. Looking to the west, it was backdropped by a soft orange/pink glowing sunset. Incredible to see from the comfort of the house where we were staying!
