This is why I love going to my grandma's house. The Milky Way, visible from the front yard. I really want to live somewhere more rural when I'm older. I know I would never grow to take a scene like this for granted :wow: This was shot at my grandma's house in Pratt, KS during our mini vacation last week :)

Please tell me what you think!

Look how indefinite and just abysmally gargantuan it appears compared to that little wisp of clouds going overhead that are probably 20 or 30,000 feet in the air.
I can't help but wish there was less house in this photo though :(
Other than that, just breathtaking.

Nice! It seems your grandmas house not only attracts great sky views but Shadow People as well! :wow:

Hells yeah Outback! Subaru for the win. :D

Also, I think I would have done two exposures here, one for the house and one for the sky. The orange doesn't sit well with me.

But dear god is the sky amazing. :wow:

So lucky! It's absolutely breathtaking! First time I ever saw the Milky Way like that was on a road trip to Kansas and my sister and I stopped in Montana and oh, I put the BIGGEST crick in my neck from staring at the sky for I don't even know how long. ^^ Very very beautiful photo.
