Hoar frost on the car windshield :) It was so beautiful, it's a shame it melted in the morning sun.

It never ceases to amaze me how tiny frost and snow flakes are, but the amount of detail that they have is amazing! This shot captures that beautifully!

This doesn't occur to often, you have to be looking for it. I think it occurs on cold nights when there's excessive moisture :o

What kind of camera are you shooting with? A DSLR or a point-and-shoot? :)

Nah I have a Canon T2i, we just got it like a couple months ago but I haven't gotten to know it really well. I'm sure that plays a role, but I cant understand why I have "better" luck with my Olympus underwater camera.

Not to ask entirely what your secrets are, but I would totally appreciate anything you would advise me to try.

Alrighty. To clarify, this photo was taken with a simple point-and-shoot camera =D
For good DSLR macro photos, you either need to but a macro lens or use the reverse macro technique. I wrote up a tutorial here: [link] :)

It doesn't occur very often, there has to be a lot of moisture in the air :)
