I'm not extremely religious. I just thought the title fit
Here's the story behind this one:
As winter grinds on, the sun continues to set further south. To our south there is a couple residential houses and trees blocking the horizon. This being said, when I saw this sunset out the kitchen window, I ran upstairs to the window in my parents room to get a clear view. I took out the dusty window screen and lifted the camera to shoot before the sun disappeared. I was in such a rush that I didn't bother to check my settings. Little did I know, a dial had been turned, and I was set shooting at F/45. I should have been suspicious that I was getting such crappy shutters while pointing at the sun, but like I said, I was in a rush. Subsequently, I upped my ISO to 400 to achieve a reasonable shutter. The result? A soft, grainy photo of a gorgeous sunset. Photographers... we all make mistakes!
