One of my favorite things to shoot during the slow transition from winter to spring is the snowmelt puddles. They always provide mirror-like reflections, because the winds are usually calm. My favorite location for this is at the middle school parking lot just up the street from my house (this will likely change this winter, as I'll be at the dorm more than the house). On this day, I made the mistake of heading home too early. I didn't think the sunset would light up. It ended up doing so once I had walked about half of the way home. I ran back as fast as I could, and managed to catch it just before it faded. Sunset and puddles; cliche, maybe, but a beautiful thing to shoot
