It's always tough to put the scale of these spiders into perspective. This one was actually bigger than most, believe it or not. Used my finger for size reference in this one. People always ask why I'm not afraid of these guys, and it's easy to explain... they're just too small to be scared of. They can't bite you! And look at those eyes. Come on.

How far and high can they jump? My mom saw one in her bathroom and killed it, she felt bad afterwards cause even though she hates spiders she thought that it was so cute.

omg jumping spiders. gotta love them.

if i may ask, what camera and lens did you use here? i've always been fascinated of all the little details these guys have, even tho they look like tiny dots with 8 tiny sticks sticking out.
