Shot this gorgeous winter scene last February in Boys Town, Nebraska after a fresh snowfall

Well worth tromping around in the deep snow in my tennis shoes to find just the right composition! In this case, I wanted to find that perfect spot where the shadows and the sun "burst" balanced each other

Not 100% sure if these are really "firs" but I'm sure your local tree expert could inform you otherwise

What a beautiful snowy scenery. It's surprising how much snow those small think braches can take. The shadows on the ground really compliment this piece.
