A little iridescence, anyone? :wow: Ventured out to a parking lot behind south campus originally just to check out this massive pile of snow they created from clearing the lot. When I started to shoot the snow, I noticed the insane colors in the clouds, and well, that ended up being far more interesting than the pile of snow! =D The iridescence was likely so crazy due to the cold weather. When the moisture from the clouds formed, it froze almost instantaneously. Since these crystals all formed and froze at the same time, they were very consistent in size and shape. This consistency is what makes for the best iridescence, and produces the vibrant colors you see here :)

**This has not been "photoshopped" past normal post-processing means. The image has undergone a standard brightness/contrast adjustment, but I did not add any of the colors you see here**
