Eureka Lake Falls Overlook

Witness the power of nature...


Sometimes it's not the chase that matters, but what you saw along the way. We shot this near Eureka, KS the day before embarking on a storm chase. The storms ended up sucking (way way fast storm motions) but this landscape/waterfall scene alone almost made the trip worth it. To get up to this overlook point, we had to climb up the shale cliff on the right, walk across the slippery upper falls, and walk along the ridge on the left. I felt like a real landscape photographer, just for an hour or so
