Yesterday's storm chase in central Kansas was (somewhat) successful! More than anything, I'm just glad it wasn't a bust. We saw storms, and that's always our main goal. However, photos were hard to come by. Storm motions on this beast were about 75mph. Even though we were ahead of the storm to start, it ended up getting ahead of us (despite our best efforts, we really couldn't have done anything more to keep up). I snapped a few photos while monitoring radar in the passenger seat while *INTOtheRFD drove. I'm glad to have the photos I did get, but the frustrating storm motions of this chase really made me want to stay home until June when motions are more like 10mph
