Description
Day 64 of 365
Maximum magnification isn't always the best way to go when it comes to macro. Sometimes it's nice to zoom out and give the photo context. I have another version of this photo that's zoomed in on a single crystal (which I will likely post later), but I liked this one because it gives you a broader perspective. This was the frost on the windshield of my sister's car this morning. Though I know hoar frost can be crystalline in shape, I believe the crystals in this photo fell the night before as flurries.
