To say goodbye to 2011, I thought I'd watch the stars spin around one last time So long, 2011. Bring it on, 2012!
So, the 365 project is OFFICIALLY DONE!! =O What's next, you might ask? I thought about doing it for another year, but have decided against it. I know I could do it, but I don't feel it necessary to prove it lol. One year is enough. I'm clearly dedicated to my work. I think I'll transition back to posting more fine-art like shots, instead of daily crap-I-need-to-find-something-interesting-to-photograph shots. I've got plenty of stuff from 2011 I have yet to release and re-edit, so I've got my work cut out for me. Don't worry though, none of this means I won't continue to update my gallery often! I have a feeling it'll be tough not to take every day now But instead of uploading a mediocre shot every day, I'll simply upload what I really like. I'll be taking just as many photos, but I won't upload it unless I'm truly proud of it
I might make a journal with some tips for anyone else who wants to start a 365 Project. For now though, I'll just leave you with one (or two): take your camera everywhere, and take photos of anything that interests you.
This shot was a very good one to end the year with. I would like to know how you got someone to stand still in the window long enough to get the shot with out them being blurred though.
Congrats! It's been interesting to watch what you're taking pictures of, and none of it was mediocre!! I'm doing the 365 project this year, and it is really disappointing when you have to upload something for the sake of uploading - even if you don't like it. Can't wait to see what you'll bring us this year!!
Well done for completing the 365 project. You produced some really cracking shots, I did not see the mediocry shots you described. I started my 365 on Jan 1, have not started to post yet, so I looked ar yours for inspiration. I totally agree with the advice, I always see great opportunities when I don't have my camera but get some still acceptable shots from my iPhone4 that is always with me.
