Day 328 of 365

Star trail shot from grandma's backyard. Debated whether or not the clothesline added a good element to the photo or it was just distracting. Think it gives it a nice sense of place though. :) All in all this one lasted about 8 hours. Also, just above the fence towards the middle (between the two poles), you can see a tiny meteor =D

This is great! You have to point the camera at the north star (in the general area at least) to get the full circle, right?

seems to be a canvas... =)
It made me think of Van Gogh's famous "starry night"... the position of both clothesline and electric line is simply perfect: great perspective! I love the guidelines that bring my eyes from the pic's lower left edge to the upper right one.
I'm really impressed.
