Walked back from my horticulture class planning to photograph some squirrels and maybe a turtle or two in the creek. Didn't find the squirrels, but I did manage to spot a couple... groundhogs :o They're not even native to Nebraska, from what I've "researched" (google image map of their native region: [link]). Saw it out of the corner of my eye and thought it was a tree stump. Nope. Big ol' fuzzy groundhog sitting on a low tree branch lol

I didn't know they got that big! Also, what the heck is he doing in a tree?!? Didn't know they could climb. Remind me if I'm ever your direction to look up and beware groundhogs falling out of trees...
