Day 294 of 365

Caught one of the first frosts of the year this morning. Didn't have class, but with lows in low 30s, I figured it might be worth getting up to photo some frost. I'm just itching to photograph some real snowflakes or hoar frost lol. These crystals weren't particularly striking. This is pretty much what all frost looks like, at least around here. Those tiny icy columns actually have some structure to them :o

They have incredible structures! Especially if you consider what gives rise to them! Amazing...one question...reversed lens?
