Day 233 of 365
Staying up until 4:30am the night before the first day of classes probably wasn't the best idea... but I did it lol. Tried to go to sleep before midnight, but some noisy neighbors in the room above us were stomping around until 1:30am. That's when a storm began to roll through, and I thought, "You know what, if I'm not gonna be able to get any sleep, I might as well be productive." This shot was taken from our dorm's porch. The porch is usually a dry, safe place to take photos... unless you get a freak storm like this one. The lightning didn't phase me. I'm starting to get used to blinding flashes and louder-than-a-canon booms. Things started getting sketchy when the winds picked up and the hail started coming down. Ended up getting several inches of rain, severe wind gusts, and golf ball-sized hail. All in all, a pretty interesting way to kick off the semester
