Day 197 of 365

Ohhai, random raccoon on the deck. You kinda scared the crap outta me when you started knocking stuff over last night, but I can't stay mad at you very long if you keep looking at me like that. :meow: A fun little surprise at 4am. Parents weren't too thrilled, but I thought they were cute. A group of 3 young raccoons were caught roaming on our deck after knocking our bird feeder over. :XD:

Haha, great shot :D Love it when (wild) animals come close to ones houses and just stops for a few seconds when they see you, then they run off or go back to what they were doing :3 I've had deer, foxes and badgers all in my front yard, but never been able to grab my camera quick enough before they're gone :/ Again, nice shot of a cute little fella' ^^

Überlate reply, I know.. But yeah; the problem isn't really having the camera close to get the pictures, it's more getting the right settings in manual before they run away  Either that, or it's too dark and all the pictures turn out blurry and shakey~ (Old Nikon D80 which doesn't handle anything above ISO400 and an 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 doesn't really do it for night / early morning photography ;))
