Phew, a late-night upload, but I've finally managed to find the time to share another 365 shot. This one was taken last Wednesday after a big storm rolled through the area (wasn't able to take photos of the storm, unfortunately, since I was in the middle of an AP test). I love taking abstract/surreal photos using puddles. Though I don't really draw from any single artist for inspiration, I suppose you could say that this one is in the style of *ahermin. I've been watching his abstract/surreal work for quite a while now. Just can't pass up the opportunity to mess with a puddle While I was taking this I realized the conceptual aspect of it. The tree shrouded in light at the bottom, and dark looming woodchips filling the sky above. A bit of foreshadowing, one could say. Side note: sorry about the awkward pole reflections. This was taken at a middle school playground, so it was tough to avoid the tetherball pole reflections.
This is splendid! At first I thought it's a graet thunderstorm, with all the leafes spinning in the air,and the sky turning madly red But then I saw it's a simple puddle and yes,the idea of turning this photo upside down is geniously great!
