Day 127 of 365
Not the greatest photo, but I was pretty busy this day. Took this one in the morning before going to the food pantry to volunteer. Originally, my mom woke me up because there was a turkey in the backyard. I saw the turkey as it left, but didn't manage to get a photo of it. Found this very bright male cardinal while searching for the turkey
Obviously I missed the focus a bit and had to sharpen it to recover detail. Basically, my current 300mm f/5.6 telephoto really makes me want some new long glass

beautiful bird, that must be a female cardinal...I think they are so pretty, almost prettier then the males. I love the details that you were able to grasp.
