Tinkering with my processing this morning. While the last image of this storm I posted was a bracketed HDR from 3 RAW exposures, this one was a single RAW image later bracketed out into 3 jpegs in post. Actually pretty pleased with the results! As long as your original exposure is close to evenly-exposed for highlights and shadows, it can be pulled off. I couldn't bracket 3 RAW images at the time because, as you can see, we were driving Storm structure always seems to be at its peak while you're driving trying to get a better angle. Not to worry though, this storm would give us plenty of photo ops in the following couple of hours One of our best chases of the year near New Underwood, SD!
