Banded Orb Weaver

Oh yes, I managed to find the courage to reverse macro a spider. Let me rephrase, a big spider. I was shaking at first (for reverse macro, you have to be about 1 inch from the subject) but soon my hands steadied. Cranked the zoom a bit wider so I could frame more than his face. As you can see, he has some pretty interesting features, such as the white "fur", yellow and black stripes, and spikes on his legs.
