Autumn in Boys Town by FramedByNature Autumn in Boys Town by FramedByNature
Canon Digital Rebel XSi
Tamron 10-24mm
3 shot HDR (-2, 0, +2)

Season represented: Fall
Shot on the streets of Boys Town, NE.

Wikipedia:
Boys Town is a village in Douglas County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 818 at the 2000 census. Boys Town is a suburb of Omaha.

The village of Boys Town was established as the headquarters of the Boys Town organization, also known as "Father Flanagan's Boys' Home", founded by Father Edward J. Flanagan. It is dedicated to the care, treatment, and education of at-risk children.

Had to run out into the street and shoot before the next car came barreling my way. Took about 20 minutes to get the right moment! Certainly worth it, though. One of my favorite shots from this autumn.

Please tell me what you think!

I grew up pretty close to Boys Town as a kid. I remember going to the 711 at Cottonwood Park a lot.

Thank you very much. I love fall and winter too. The foliage of fall, and the flakes of winter. I'm not too fond of the transitional period between fall and winter, though, when all the leaves are gone but it's not quite cold enough to snow =D

Honestly im just in AWE

if u could only see my expression when i saw this shot...

it was a fusion of
"WTF-WOW-AWE-HAPPINESS-THE LEGEND OF ZELDA-MAPLE SYRUP-and possibly all the things that seem awesome in this world all put into a metaphorical expression of how good this photo is

(makes sense RIGHT?)
