Climbing to the top of the '76 Trail in Spearfish Canyon is no easy feat, especially with fresh snowfall. I ended up doing it twice... once solo, thanks to my own stupidity Read more about that in the full image account (I'll provide a link in my journal once it's up!). You have to hike down a bit from the main overlook to get to this point along the rim. The main overlook is nice, but this one is much more open A bit sketchy, considering there's a few hundred foot drop if you step over those rocks If you look on the horizon, you can see some snow showers beginning to filter into the canyon. This snow would later rapidly intensify, forcing us to cut our hike a bit short.
